Launched in 2013 by Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant, Coperni is a Paris-based ready-to-wear brand with the innovative influence of the cooperation of fashion and technology. Fun fact: the name is originated from Renaissance-era astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus to describe the mathematical essence of the brand since both designers are highly attached to the field of science by childhood, namely military schooling and growing up in families of doctors. The duo focuses on flexible, unisex and origami-like techniques, inspired by the designers’ prior experiences at famous fashion houses such as Balenciaga and Chanel.
Wild combination of fabrics, special cut-out details, twists and amazing tailoring straight from the Paris runway. From one moment to another we started to notice that the whole world is going crazy about Coperni and we see why: it is almost impossible to choose from the collection’s clean but at the same time bold iconic creations. We adore everything attributed to the two designers of the brand and we would take them all home to wear a different statement piece each day.
